Farley is our 2 year old Golden Retriever who is generally wild and goofy – but also very intelligent. This painting captures him in a quiet, thoughtful moment – probably while he is contemplating stealing a sock from the laundry hamper.
I sold this painting which was painted from a photo taken at Lake Windermere. I like the way the sky is reflected in the water and the ripples in that reflection. I also like the leaves that are caught against the rocks.
Erin has been wanting a big painting of a bear for her apartment (alias – the T.Wolcott Art Gallery) so I painted a 30″ x 30″ one for her. This shows the stages leading up to finished painting, as well as the final painting.
